This network is made up of workers from Fairtrade certified plantations in Latin America and the Caribbean, which produce bananas, flowers, fresh fruit, and wine. Its mission is to achieve empowerment through coordination and representation, allowing their voice to be heard in the Fairtrade system and to participate more actively in decision making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The Network&#8217;s objectives are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>To build and consolidate the social fabric of workers.<\/li><li>To promote and disseminate the principles, values, and impact of Fairtrade among certified plantations and other members of the system.<\/li><li>To coordinate and actively participate in Fairtrade consultation processes related to workers.<\/li><li>To influence through CLAC in the policies and strategies of Fair Trade.<\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"633\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/web-dev.clac-comerciojusto.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/andrea-serna-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1622\" srcset=\"https:\/\/web-dev.clac-comerciojusto.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/andrea-serna-03.jpg 633w, https:\/\/web-dev.clac-comerciojusto.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/andrea-serna-03-300x149.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 633px) 100vw, 633px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In this space of recognition, rapprochement and agreement, issues are developed that are aimed at the welfare of workers, their families, and their communities.
